Back from the Hills, off to the Mountains!
My wife, her parents and I had a wonderful time in South Dakota’s Black Hills this past week. We we’re amazed by all of the animals we saw (does, bucks, wild turkeys, bison, pronghorn, bighorn sheep, mountain goats, and many other types of birds and small critters) and we were so thankful for the work the firefighters did to contain a forest fire started by arson. It’s sad to know there are people that want to ruin the beauty of God’s creation. Thanks so much for your labor, firefighters, I appreciate you!
Tomorrow morning I leave for the AFLC’s Free Lutheran Youth (FLY) Conference. I’m very excited to see how God will move among the youth and adults that will be attending, and very excited to spend some time at Estes Park in the Rockies. I will *hopefully* be blogging live from the conference so you can stay updated on what’s going on.
