New Site Design

Posted on May 29, 2008. Filed under: Announcements — Tags: — Ryan Egan @ 4:26 pm

Well, I finally finished (at least I hope so) my own site design. I thought I would like it, but I’m not so sure anymore. Anyway, for those of you reading in RSS, maybe you could take a quick peak at the redesign and let me know what you think (most importantly - is it too hard to read?)  There are (unfortunately) a few bugs to work out.  I had hoped to catch them all before updating, but missed a few.

Also, I finally have an official homepage at iamanoffering.com. Feel free to check it out!

  1. Ryan,
I think the new design ROCKS hardcore. I’m a big fan of simple.
    My only suggestions:
    - A darker post font color would make reading easier
    - Maybe bullets or some different spacing on the side bar - everything runs together a bit.

  2. Hey thanks! I actually redesigned the redesign :-) And even though the first redesign took way longer, this one looks much better! I’m still tweaking some things so your input is very much appreciated! I’ll be following you on Twitter as soon as it starts working again (that’s the only problem with Twitter!) Later!

  3. Ditto on the font color, maybe a little too light. Also, the headers in the right menu (ie. recent comments), and the light grey words (ie. Joel on review-) … tough to read.

Thanks for the blog link love, though, man … looking forward to reading.

  4. Hey Fred!

Thanks for stopping by and thanks for the suggestions - I know the menu needs some work still. I had darkened the main post font color, but maybe it’s not dark enough…comment font color is definitely to light. Take care!
