This week has been absolutely incredible. It’s been so awesome to hear the testimonies of so many of the youth that are here. It’s been awesome to be able to lead worship and see the people responding and entering into God’s presence.
Last night I was blessed to join Living Word’s group for a time of reflection. Some highlights from some of the youth:
- Hans - Has now begun to really worship God during the music, instead of just singing to sing. He is excited to be able to enter His presence and glorify Him.
- Kurtis - Mentioned that if God’s Word is powerful to change a terrorist and a persecutor of Christians into a Christian, there’s nothing it can’t do.
I definitely hope I get to experience this week again the future.
Yesterday was absolutely incredible.
God is definitely moving here and it is so awesome to see. We saw at least 30 kids give their lives to Christ for the first time last night. As we led worship for the late night session, we commented that some kids will be singing these songs from the depths of their hearts for the very first time.
It is such a privilege to be able to lead worship after the main service. We are able to listen to the speaker, see how the Spirit is moving and help the people respond to what God has done.
We produced a very cool video of short-answer testimonies yesterday. If I get permission, I’ll try to have it on here later in the day.
“Every day, it’s You I live for. Every day, I follow after You. Every day, I walk with You my Lord.”
We led that song with the middle schoolers this morning. It was fun to see many of them into worship. What a good reminder that our lives are (or should be) all about living for Jesus every day.
There were 70 students that responded to the message last night. And I’m sure there will be more to come. It is so awesome to see how God is moving. On the video team, we’re going to be producing video testimonies of things that God has done throughout the week in certain student’s lives. I’m excited to see what happens.
I know I’ve been promising pictures, but I realized that my card reader and usb cable are at home, but I’ll try and find a way to get some up soon. The stage looks absolutely amazing.
What’s so cool about this conference is the level of talent from all sorts of people that are just volunteers!
More to come…
It’s tough to experience all of FLY as we’re in the video editing room most of the day. Hopefully tomorrow we’ll be able to go to the evening service. However, I heard that there was an awesome response to the Gospel after the speaker presented it!
We had an awesome time leading worship for The Gathering tonight (the late night worship time), and showed two videos that we produced throughout the day. I promise I will get pictures up soon!
Well, the anticipation is building for the FLY conference to begin. Most of the staff are here and many are trickling in, and we’re all in anticipation of having the kids get here tonight. It’s been very busy already. I’ve been doing some work on the set, some video editing and music production, and much more to do before the day is over!
I don’t have much time now, but I will post some shots of the set and other things from around here later tonight. Be praying for God to move mightily here this week!
