{"id":265,"date":"2008-09-02T09:17:11","date_gmt":"2008-09-02T15:17:11","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/iamanoffering.com\/blog\/?p=265"},"modified":"2008-09-02T09:17:11","modified_gmt":"2008-09-02T15:17:11","slug":"return-to-the-blogosphere","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/iamanoffering.com\/blog\/return-to-the-blogosphere\/","title":{"rendered":"Return to the Blogosphere!"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Well, it&#8217;s been great to take a break.\u00a0 I&#8217;ve had time to think and process a few things, plus it was nice to not try and come up with stuff to write about for a while!<\/p>\n<p>Some highlights from the past week:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Ministry is going well.\u00a0 A lot of good things are happening.\u00a0 A lot of good things are about to happen.\u00a0 I can&#8217;t even imagine where God is going to take us.<\/li>\n<li>We had a small, short gathering for Sunday&#8217;s service (since it was labor day, and since there was a community worship service at the LifeLight Music Festival).\u00a0 It was great.\u00a0 Nice, intimate atmosphere.\u00a0 The most fun was hearing a little guy pray out loud behind us when Pastor Wade asked us to pray with who we came with &#8211; so cool to hear that kind of stuff!<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>I came across a link that I think would be super valuable for families.\u00a0 Often we struggle with how to lead worship in our homes (which is the place that teaching about worship and Jesus should begin with).\u00a0 <a title=\"Sojourn Music | Conversation with Jared Kennedy\" href=\"http:\/\/www.sojournmusic.com\/2008\/09\/02\/how-to-lead-family-worship-in-the-home-a-conversation-with-jared-kennedy-of-sojournkids\/\">Here is a great podcast from Sojourn Church, talking with their children&#8217;s ministry director about implementing a family worship time.<\/a> I highly recommend it.
