{"id":271,"date":"2008-10-16T08:52:45","date_gmt":"2008-10-16T14:52:45","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/iamanoffering.com\/blog\/?p=271"},"modified":"2011-03-12T20:22:46","modified_gmt":"2011-03-13T02:22:46","slug":"life-is-crazy-bear-with-me-as-i-try-to-come-up-for-air-some-updates","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/iamanoffering.com\/blog\/life-is-crazy-bear-with-me-as-i-try-to-come-up-for-air-some-updates\/","title":{"rendered":"Life is Crazy &#8211; Bear With Me as I try to Come Up for Air &#8211; Some Updates"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>As <a title=\"Hobbitwerk\" href=\"http:\/\/www.seruyange.com\/david\/2007\/12\/02\/piPhoDakHobbitwerk.aspx\">my friend<\/a> put it recently &#8211; &#8220;You coming up for air?\u00a0\u00a0 You&#8217;ve been pretty silent lately.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>Yep.<\/p>\n<p>Over the past few months my wife and I began conversation about the potential of me looking for another job.\u00a0 She&#8217;s been working full time and providing for our family, which has been amazing and for which I haven&#8217;t been grateful enough &#8211; but it&#8217;s time for that to change.\u00a0 With the addition of our daughter, her mommy desires have definitely kicked in and she would love to spend more time with our little one &#8211; which I think is awesome.<\/p>\n<p>So, I&#8217;ve been on a job search for the past month or so.\u00a0 I have been working part time for some time, and finally looking for full time work.\u00a0 I would love to be a full time worship and music director someday, but the truth is, many churches find it hard to swing that as a fulltime job.\u00a0 So I will be joining <a title=\"Billy Chia | Are You a Bivocational Worship Leader?\" href=\"http:\/\/billychia.com\/2008\/09\/22\/are-you-a-bivocational-worship-leader\/\">Billy Chia as a bivocational worship leader.<\/a><\/p>\n<p>So, in the midst of my job search, this blog went pretty silent as I had begun building a portfolio site to display my graphic design work in order to get a job.<\/p>\n<p>I have one offer and I&#8217;m waiting on another offer right now that I think would be a better fit for me.\u00a0 I still want to continue to be involved in worship leading and in writing this blog and participating in <a title=\"The Worship Community\" href=\"http:\/\/www.theworshipcommunity.com\">The Worship Community<\/a> &#8211; but life is crazy and I&#8217;m still trying to figure out some schedule issues.<\/p>\n<p>In the meantime &#8211; I would appreciate prayer, you can check out my portfolio site and I&#8217;m hoping to get back to blogging on worship and music regularly very soon.<\/p>\n<p>Thanks for the listen &#8211; enjoy the rest of the week!<\/p>\n<div id=\"wp_fb_like_button\" style=\"margin:5px 5px 5px 0;float:left;height:50px;\"><script src=\"http:\/\/connect.facebook.net\/en_US\/all.js#xfbml=1\"><\/script><fb:like href=\"https:\/\/iamanoffering.com\/blog\/life-is-crazy-bear-with-me-as-i-try-to-come-up-for-air-some-updates\/\" send=\"false\" layout=\"standard\" width=\"595\" show_faces=\"false\" font=\"arial\" action=\"like\" colorscheme=\"light\"><\/fb:like><\/div>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>As my friend put it recently &#8211; &#8220;You coming up for air?\u00a0\u00a0 You&#8217;ve been pretty silent lately.&#8221; Yep.
