{"id":272,"date":"2008-10-28T10:46:49","date_gmt":"2008-10-28T16:46:49","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/iamanoffering.com\/blog\/?p=272"},"modified":"2011-04-22T15:02:59","modified_gmt":"2011-04-22T21:02:59","slug":"time-managing-vs-time-balancing","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/iamanoffering.com\/blog\/time-managing-vs-time-balancing\/","title":{"rendered":"Time Managing vs. Time Balancing"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Throughout the last few weeks I&#8217;ve been involved in lots of things &#8211; looking for a new job, trying to develop ways for me to freelance, working my current job, figuring out how to stay on top of volunteer worship ministry, spending time with my wife and daughter and trying to spend time in God&#8217;s Word and prayer.\u00a0 That&#8217;s a whole life in itself, but I still love taking pictures, reading, watching a few select TV shows and doing enjoyable things.\u00a0 Then there&#8217;s housework, yard work and more.\u00a0 Yikes.<\/p>\n<p>I&#8217;ve been thinking a lot about how our time management is part of how we worship God.\u00a0 I want to spend some time thinking about our time, using my own life as an example and talking about some ideas of how time can be managed.<\/p>\n<p>Teaser for tomorrow:\u00a0 There&#8217;s a <strong>huge difference<\/strong> between <strong>managing your time<\/strong> and <strong>balancing your time.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>See you tomorrow.\u00a0 In the meantime, our pastor wrote one of the best blog posts I&#8217;ve seen dealing with our nation&#8217;s financial issues and the political race.
