{"id":276,"date":"2008-11-26T07:59:12","date_gmt":"2008-11-26T13:59:12","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/iamanoffering.com\/blog\/?p=276"},"modified":"2008-12-16T08:18:31","modified_gmt":"2008-12-16T14:18:31","slug":"thankful-that-im-still-alive-and-not-hungry","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/iamanoffering.com\/blog\/thankful-that-im-still-alive-and-not-hungry\/","title":{"rendered":"Thankful That I&#8217;m Still Alive and Not Hungry"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>I&#8217;ve been thinking.\u00a0 I&#8217;ve been thinking that I&#8217;m obviously behind on blogging.\u00a0 I&#8217;ve been thinking that I&#8217;m not devoting as much time into volunteer worship ministry that I&#8217;d like to.\u00a0 I&#8217;ve been thinking that I have this and that and the other thing to do.<\/p>\n<p>But then I realized a few things.\u00a0 I&#8217;m not hiding in a basement because of what I believe.\u00a0 I&#8217;ve never gone to bed hungry because I don&#8217;t have enough food to eat.\u00a0 Even though I&#8217;m praying that I find a full time job soon, I have peace because my <span style=\"text-decoration: line-through;\">family<\/span> wife has been smart with our finances and we have enough security that we don&#8217;t need to freak out&#8230;yet. (I&#8217;ll let you know in a few weeks if we need to \ud83d\ude42<\/p>\n<p>Do you realize the amazing blessings that you have in your life?\u00a0 Do you thank God for them or take them for granted as I have been?<\/p>\n<p>Worship Him with your gratitude today, tomorrow and always.<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>I know what it is to be in need, and I know what it is to have plenty. I have learned the secret of being content in any and every situation, whether well fed or hungry, whether living in plenty or in want.
