{"id":28,"date":"2006-10-16T14:05:43","date_gmt":"2006-10-16T20:05:43","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/iamanoffering.com\/blog\/?p=28"},"modified":"2011-03-07T10:31:54","modified_gmt":"2011-03-07T16:31:54","slug":"empowering","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/iamanoffering.com\/blog\/empowering\/","title":{"rendered":"Empowering"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>It&#8217;s good to be back at Lord of Life again.<\/p>\n<p style=\"margin-right: 0px;\" dir=\"ltr\">Yesterday&#8217;s songs:<\/p>\n<blockquote style=\"margin-right: 0px;\" dir=\"ltr\">\n<p style=\"margin-right: 0px;\" dir=\"ltr\">Because of Your Love<br \/>\nMost High God<br \/>\nO God, Our Help<br \/>\nEnough<br \/>\nYour Name<br \/>\nYou are my King<br \/>\nFaithful One<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p style=\"margin-right: 0px;\" dir=\"ltr\">Vicar Josh&#8217;s sermon really hit home to me in one way, which I think all of us as worship leaders, tech leaders, web designers, pastors or whatever should take to heart.\u00a0 He pointed out that when Moses was struggling with the burden of the Israelites, God took the spirit of Moses and put it onto 70 elders of Israel.\u00a0 God took Moses&#8217; heart, which was fueled by the Holy Spirit, and gave that same Spirit and heart to the elders.<\/p>\n<p style=\"margin-right: 0px;\" dir=\"ltr\">How often do we think that we can do things on our own?\u00a0 How often do we feel such heavy burdens and never ask for help?\u00a0 I know I&#8217;m guilty.\u00a0 Also, how often do we expect those under our leadership to see our vision and catch our spirit if we never share it with them?<\/p>\n<p style=\"margin-right: 0px;\" dir=\"ltr\">Let&#8217;s ask God to give us the desire, courage, and humility to be able to ask others to share our burdens and to share with others what our spirit is.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<div id=\"wp_fb_like_button\" style=\"margin:5px 5px 5px 0;float:left;height:50px;\"><script src=\"http:\/\/connect.facebook.net\/en_US\/all.js#xfbml=1\"><\/script><fb:like href=\"https:\/\/iamanoffering.com\/blog\/empowering\/\" send=\"false\" layout=\"standard\" width=\"595\" show_faces=\"false\" font=\"arial\" action=\"like\" colorscheme=\"light\"><\/fb:like><\/div>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>It&#8217;s good to be back at Lord of Life again.
