{"id":29,"date":"2006-10-18T14:15:28","date_gmt":"2006-10-18T20:15:28","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/iamanoffering.com\/blog\/?p=29"},"modified":"2011-03-10T21:26:06","modified_gmt":"2011-03-11T03:26:06","slug":"offering-encouragement","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/iamanoffering.com\/blog\/offering-encouragement\/","title":{"rendered":"How to be an Offering &#8211; Encouragement"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Many people actually have the spiritual gift of encouragement, and are just natural encouragers.\u00a0 You feel so motivated around them and just feel a great boost in morale when they talk to you.<\/p>\n<p>But that doesn&#8217;t mean that all of us can&#8217;t encourage just a little bit.\u00a0 Paul makes this plea to the church in Thessalonica,<\/p>\n<blockquote style=\"margin-right: 0px;\" dir=\"ltr\"><p>&#8220;Therefore encourage one another and build each other up, just as in fact you are doing.&#8221; (I Thess. 5:11)<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p dir=\"ltr\"><strong>So many times I get down because I haven&#8217;t been encouraged in a day, but I forget that I haven&#8217;t encouraged anyone either<\/strong>!\u00a0 I shouldn&#8217;t get depressed when I&#8217;m not doing to people what I&#8217;d like done to myself!<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">So I challenge you, make a sacrifice today and take some time to encourage someone.\u00a0 Take some time to encourage your pastor (especially in this month of pastor appreciation!).\u00a0 What a great act of worship to our God by taking the time to encourage someone else!<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\"><strong>What have you done to encourage someone lately? \u00a0How has someone encouraged you?<\/strong><\/p>\n<div id=\"wp_fb_like_button\" style=\"margin:5px 5px 5px 0;float:left;height:50px;\"><script src=\"http:\/\/connect.facebook.net\/en_US\/all.js#xfbml=1\"><\/script><fb:like href=\"https:\/\/iamanoffering.com\/blog\/offering-encouragement\/\" send=\"false\" layout=\"standard\" width=\"595\" show_faces=\"false\" font=\"arial\" action=\"like\" colorscheme=\"light\"><\/fb:like><\/div>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Many people actually have the spiritual gift of encouragement, and are just natural encouragers.\u00a0 You feel so motivated around them and just feel a great boost in morale when they talk to you.
