{"id":325,"date":"2009-03-18T06:30:39","date_gmt":"2009-03-18T12:30:39","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/iamanoffering.com\/blog\/?p=325"},"modified":"2011-04-22T15:00:43","modified_gmt":"2011-04-22T21:00:43","slug":"when-faith-is-tested-when-god-is-faithful","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/iamanoffering.com\/blog\/when-faith-is-tested-when-god-is-faithful\/","title":{"rendered":"When Faith is Tested&#8230;When God is Faithful"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Many of you are aware that the last few weeks have been difficult for our family.\u00a0 Our 15-month daughter was hospitalized for two weeks with several health issues and we are continuing to care for her with extra measures at home.<\/p>\n<p>After many tears, sleepless nights, and hospital tests without many answers right away you start to lose heart, doubt, and even seem to lose faith at times.\u00a0 Then, when you reach a point of calm, you begin to believe the lies that God is disappointed in you for losing faith and for questioning Him and His sovereign ways.\u00a0 Then He brings this amazing thought to mind:\u00a0 although we are not always faithful, He is.<\/p>\n<p>No matter what we think or feel, God is continually waiting with outstretched arms to hold us and carry us through trial, even when we ask, &#8220;why.&#8221;\u00a0 Oh, He is good, and He is taking care of us.\u00a0 We hold on to this promise during this time, will you, when you go through trial?<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>Because of the LORD&#8217;s great love we are not consumed,\u00a0 for his compassions never fail.\u00a0 They are new every morning;\u00a0 great is your faithfulness.\u00a0 I say to myself, &#8220;The LORD is my portion; therefore I will wait for him.&#8221; Lamentations 3:22-24<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<div id=\"wp_fb_like_button\" style=\"margin:5px 5px 5px 0;float:left;height:50px;\"><script src=\"http:\/\/connect.facebook.net\/en_US\/all.js#xfbml=1\"><\/script><fb:like href=\"https:\/\/iamanoffering.com\/blog\/when-faith-is-tested-when-god-is-faithful\/\" send=\"false\" layout=\"standard\" width=\"595\" show_faces=\"false\" font=\"arial\" action=\"like\" colorscheme=\"light\"><\/fb:like><\/div>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Many of you are aware that the last few weeks have been difficult for our family.\u00a0 Our 15-month daughter was hospitalized for two weeks with several health issues and we are continuing to care for her with extra measures at home.
