{"id":74,"date":"2007-04-11T16:35:28","date_gmt":"2007-04-11T22:35:28","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/iamanoffering.com\/blog\/?p=74"},"modified":"2011-03-10T21:22:43","modified_gmt":"2011-03-11T03:22:43","slug":"from-mouths-of-babes","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/iamanoffering.com\/blog\/from-mouths-of-babes\/","title":{"rendered":"How to be an Offering &#8211; From the Mouths of Babes"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Many of us are afraid to worship publicly. \u00a0We&#8217;re afraid to show our vulnerability out in the open; afraid of what people might think of us. \u00a0But kids, on the other hand, aren&#8217;t afraid at all. \u00a0Yesterday I saw a little one give an offering of worship that blessed my heart so much.<\/p>\n<p>Our intern pastor&#8217;s son was walking onto the steps of the altar area, and someone called him down from there. \u00a0He said, &#8220;Okay, but I just want to sing for you.&#8221; \u00a0It was agreed that he could sing as long as he came down on the floor. \u00a0Eventually, someone asked him what he was going to sing. \u00a0&#8220;Jesus luv me,&#8221; he says.<\/p>\n<p>This would have been fun and great if he had just sung it by himself, but he said to all of us adults, &#8220;Now you sing with me okay? \u00a0Ready? \u00a0Jesus luv me dis I know&#8230;&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>It was so precious to a see a little toddler leading all of us adults in worship that morning. \u00a0I am so thankful that I can learn how to offer myself from someone that small.<\/p>\n<p><strong><em>Personal note: \u00a0Please pray for me today and this week as I am going through some very tough personal struggles.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n<div id=\"wp_fb_like_button\" style=\"margin:5px 5px 5px 0;float:left;height:50px;\"><script src=\"http:\/\/connect.facebook.net\/en_US\/all.js#xfbml=1\"><\/script><fb:like href=\"https:\/\/iamanoffering.com\/blog\/from-mouths-of-babes\/\" send=\"false\" layout=\"standard\" width=\"595\" show_faces=\"false\" font=\"arial\" action=\"like\" colorscheme=\"light\"><\/fb:like><\/div>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Many of us are afraid to worship publicly. \u00a0We&#8217;re afraid to show our vulnerability out in the open; afraid of what people might think of us. \u00a0But kids, on the other hand, aren&#8217;t afraid at all. \u00a0Yesterday I saw a little one give an offering of worship that blessed my heart so much.
