While listening to a message on giving effective exhortations (speaking in between songs) I was challenged in the fact that I never read thoughts on worship from older authors. I’ve tended to fall into the “what’s the latest” reading pattern way too often. So, I dug out my “What Luther Says” anthology and started to read some of his thoughts on worship. Wow. Fascinating and convicting stuff. Next week I want to look at some of these things. While I am a Lutheran, I am first and foremost an evangelical Christian, so those of you who aren’t Lutherans, you will definitely enjoy this series as well, so don’t tune it out!! 🙂
In the meantime, I was reading back through my blog and came across some posts that I think might be worth revisiting (or visiting, if you haven’t already):
- Â Practical Music Theory Tips
- How To Deal with Burnout by Raising Up New Worship Leaders
- Worship Leaders and the Local Church
- What happens when you don’t have a…? (Series on tips for if you’re missing instruments in your team)
