Discipline is Not My Forte

Another path on the journey toward discipline

I’m realizing more and more that the fruit of many of my struggles come from a certain root.  I am a horribly undisciplined person.

So, starting this week, I’m going to attempt to begin a journey of discipline.  I’m praying for and working on having more discipline in these areas:

  • My devotional life
  • Exercise
  • Rest
  • Visionary thinking
  • Executing logistical details

My hope with this journey that will also become a series here is that:

  • I can be helped by all of you who are probably far more disciplined than I am
  • I can perhaps be of help to some of you who might be facing the same struggles

While I am facing a struggle with consistently being disciplined in these areas I do know some tools and techniques that (if I only applied them) are extremely helpful.

Tomorrow I’ll share some ideas for becoming more disciplined in my devotional life and soon will revisit this to see what progress has been made.

Would you join me on my discipline journey?  If you would, either to give me advice or to join my in becoming more disciplined, please leave a comment!
